Residents of Bwari have welcomed the ongoing construction of the road linking Mai Tuwo Junction to the Central Mosque along Dabban Street Bypass, describing it as a long-awaited intervention.
The project, which commenced just a few weeks ago, is making steady progress. Drainage construction is already nearing completion, a development expected to significantly reduce the erosion and flooding that have affected the area during heavy rainfall.
The ongoing work reflects the commitment of the Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, to improving infrastructure and creating a cleaner, more modern environment for residents. The administration has continued to prioritize projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life across the council.
During a visit to the construction site, BwariTimes observed that work is progressing smoothly, with workers on-site making remarkable progress. Residents and passersby expressed appreciation for the project, with many describing it as “a new dawn” for the people of Bwari Area Council.
Once completed, the road is expected to improve accessibility, enhance drainage, and contribute to the overall development of the community.
