A social media content creator, entrepreneur and entertainment advocate, Valentine Ukeme Phenson, has called on the Chairman of Bwari Area Council to appoint a Special Adviser on Entertainment as part of efforts to strengthen the entertainment sector and improve nightlife in the area.
Phenson said the appointment would give greater attention to the creative industry and provide a structured platform for young entertainers, musicians, comedians, content creators and other creative talents to develop their careers within Bwari.
Speaking on the state of entertainment in the area, he also appealed to the council chairman to consider organizing a major annual event such as a Bwari Carnival, such an initiative could become a platform for discovering and promoting emerging talents.
According to him, many people travel to Abuja city centre and other parts of the Federal Capital Territory whenever they want to experience quality entertainment.
Phenson noted that the situation represents a missed opportunity for Bwari, arguing that a vibrant entertainment industry could keep more young people within the area while creating economic opportunities for businesses and individuals.
He said, “People currently drive all the way to the city centre to get entertained. Bwari has the population and the talents, but we need to create the environment where entertainment can thrive here.” Watch the full video in the link here.
