The First Lady of Bwari Area Council, Mrs. Susan Joshua Musa, has entered into a partnership with ABTreated Fashion House to provide women and young people across the area council with practical skills that can help them build sustainable sources of income.
The initiative, known as the Bwari Area Council Tailoring, Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (BAC-TSAED) 2026, is designed to combine vocational training with entrepreneurship development, with tailoring serving as one of the key areas of focus.

The programme is expected to give beneficiaries hands-on knowledge that can enable them to establish businesses, improve their earning capacity and become more economically independent.
On Monday, August 3, 2026, Mrs. Susan Joshua Musa visited ABTreated Fashion House alongside members of her entourage as part of efforts to advance discussions around the implementation of the programme.
She was received by the Chief Executive Officer of the fashion house, Mr. Moses Damolekun. Discussions during the visit focused on how the training programme could be effectively delivered and how more residents could benefit from the skills development initiative.
The partnership reflects efforts by the administration of the Bwari Area Council Chairman, Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, to promote practical empowerment opportunities for residents, particularly women and youths.
Speaking on the initiative, the council chairman described the programme as part of his administration’s commitment to ensuring that residents are equipped with useful skills that can improve their livelihoods.
“This is a commitment of my administration to ensuring that our people in Bwari Area Council are empowered.”
The BAC-TSAED 2026 initiative is expected to strengthen access to vocational training while encouraging beneficiaries to explore entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities within and beyond Bwari Area Council.
